Who is Brendan Owens?

Brendan Owens was the wine buyer for “Wink Restaurant & Wine Bar” in Austin, Texas for over ten years. He worked closely with the chef to pair the proper wines with farm-to-table menu items. Wink is an intimate, unpretentious “white-tablecloth” parlor where personal attention is the goal. The menu is updated daily and offers a daily chef’s tasting menu. It is a Wine Spectator award winner and is listed on Open Table as one of the Top 50 Restaurants in the country. Brendan also lent his wine expertise to Asti Trattoria Restaurant which offers Italian cuisine in an Austin casual style setting. Brendan has extensive experience in the fine dining environment as it pertains to wine and continues to stay relevant in the industry with his relationships with Austin Sommeliers and other experts in the industry.
