ArtVenture: Young Adult Art Discovery

We are excited to announce the return of our free art programs, and this one is for the young adults of the Crossroads! On select Saturdays from 11 AM to 12 PM during exhibits, the Nave will be offering a program to young adults aged 12 through 18 that will cover art history, notable artists, and the different artistic media with occasional associated art projects.

Sample topics to be covered include:

• The Birth of Art
• The Evolution of Pop Art
• Ancient Architecture and the Great Pyramids
• Egyptian Art
• Artist Andy Warhol
• Artist Claus Oldenburg
• Artist Yves Klein
• Artist Piet Mondrian
• and more!

These classes will discuss and celebrate "the appreciation and enjoyment of art from whatever time and place it may have come, by whatever hands it may have been made."
